Tech Tuesday: NoteWorks now available on iPhone and iPod Touch!

Exactly one year tomorrow I reviewed what is now one of my favorite note reading apps I like to use with my students. NoteWorks. You can read the original review here.

I’m excited to announce that if you do not currently own an iPad, you can now download NoteWorks on your iPhone or iPod Touch! I played around with it on my iPhone and it is the same great program, albeit everything is smaller. Overall I prefer to play most of my piano game apps on the iPad, but for families who don’t own one, this is a great recommendation for them if they have the other devices.

There are free versions for both the iPhone and iPad. If you are undecided whether to purchase this app, I would try the free versions first. Just remember free is always limited to how much you can do, but it is a good taste test.

To download Noteworks click on the follow links:

iPhone/iPod Touch version ($4.99)

iPad version ($4.99)

iPhone/iPad Touch free

iPad free

Just a quick note, it is possible to use iPhone/iPod Touch app downloads on your iPad (I have several), but just know the graphics are typically not as sharp when you extend to full size. But it does work!)

Now for the fun part! NoteWorks is giving away promo codes for 5 teachers to download this app for free! Already have this app? Win it for a lucky student in your studio! How to enter is a little bit different then what I usually do as I’m hoping to see more ‘likes’ on the FPSResources Facebook page. (I would love to see it hit 300!) So… to enter, share this giveaway to another teacher (or two or three or…) you know and encourage them to like FPSResources on Facebook. Then comment below that you did and what other favorite note reading apps you like to use in your studio.

Deadline to enter is by Thursday, November 14th by 10:00pm (AZ mountain time). (*Winners MUST respond within 72 hours of announcement or another winner will be chosen*) The winners will be announced on this blog and on the FPSResources Facebook page by Friday, Nov. 15th. Be sure you subscribe to the blog and on our Facebook page so you don’t miss out seeing if you are a winner! Good luck!

  1. Invited a piano teacher friend to like FPS Resources and shared your giveaway on Facebook. I’m hoping to acquire an ipad mini by Christmas. Looking forward to using this app and others you’ve reviewed here.

  2. Just shared with a piano teacher friend! Favorite note naming game is Piano Mania (free version so it only does very beginning–haven’t done subscription yet) and all other Joy Tunes apps. Thanks for all you do!
