  3. Love this list! Wish I had time to check out every one of these, and play with them a little. any chance of making a pdf of this, easier to download or print, so I can start working thru the list? Thanks for all your work. If you like it, I know its going to be worth buying and using.

  4. Thanks so much for this!!! A lot of my students don’t have an iPad though. Would you consider doing a list like this for Android devices?

    • Hi Darlene, unfortunately I don’t have any android devices. But if you look online and google for music android apps I’m sure someone out there has some. I know Jennifer Eklund at one point had a list on her blog. I seem to remember there was someone else as well.

  5. Fabulous list. Thank you so much. I have many of them but I am always open to new apps for my studio. Just in time for me to explore before the new year begins.

  6. Thank u for this list! It is so generous of u to share this info. My question is about page turners. I’m tired of lugging around loads of books everytime I play a gig. If I download my sheet music into Dropbox, and then purchase a page turner app, will this be all I need to do to play my music a regular piano? Or does this only work with an electric keyboard? Thanks!

    • Hi Susan, I highly recommend downloading your music into ForScore. The app is worth the price. Try Tonara or PiaScore and see how you like those as far as page turns go. They are both free to download. I personally prefer using a page turner pedal like PageFlip or AirTurn as apps can sometimes be glitchy. I haven’t had any problems with my pedal. Just need to make sure it stays charged and I push the correct pedal. It does take getting used to as well.
